Chapter Eight - Napkin Presentation # 8 - The Sizzle Sells The Steak

Another title that I sometimes use for this presentation is "The Blazes."

Let's assume you've been camping. Notice when you separate the logs of a campfire, the fire will go out. If you put the logs back together, the fire will blaze again.

So if you have one log, you have nothing.

If you have two logs, you'll have a flame.

When you put three logs together, you will have a FIRE.

By the time you put four logs together, you'll have a blaze!

People are the same way.

The next time you're with your sponsor, notice the amount of energy.

Notice when you're with your sponsor and meeting with someone, there is much more energy.

By the time the fourth person meets with you, you've really got it going!

We like to call these "blazes" or "Sizzle Sessions."

(Sizzle Sessions are now done online through Zoom and FaceTime.)

Your network marketing program is the "steak" and the sizzle sells the steak!

So you want to get together with your sponsor and share the napkin presentations with one or two of your downline people. Get them "sizzling" and excited about what can happen for them.

A good place to do this is online through a Zoom session.

You may want to set up a regular schedule, so your people will know where you'll be during the week.

It's as if everybody is out gathering wood for the fire or blaze.

If you were to bring a skeptical person (wet log) to a sizzle session and introduce them to the blaze, they will dry out and become part of the fire.

What happens if you're by yourself and being new in the business, talk to someone who is skeptical?

That's like trying to put a wet log on nothing.

Let's say you are a twig, just getting started in the business. Your sponsor, who is been around a little longer, is a log.

A log and a twig can create a flame. It can make a difference having someone with you. Your sponsor can have a conversation with them.

I could want Joe to hear a message. If I'm talking to him, he might not hear what I'm saying.

But if I'm talking to Carol, knowing that Joe is listening…it is amazing how people get more out of a conversations they listen to, rather than if someone was talking directly to them.

I always start the sizzle sessions by having people tell something positive that has happened with their organization.

While we're together, we talk only about the business. We don't try to solve the problems in the Middle East other problems in the world. We are there to share ideas about how to build our business and how to talk to people about our business.

Note: Sizzle Sessions are done online through Zoom and FaceTime. This convenience saves you time.

Summary: When three or four people meet together, you have a lot of excitement and energy.

You want to get together with your sponsor, as well as several other people in your business, on a regular, weekly basis. This is called a sizzle session.

The most efficient and time-saving way to meet is through Zoom or Facetime.
