What Happened To Me

It was the week of Thanksgiving.

I woke up early one morning and saw the big pile of wet, heavy leaves in the corner of the back yard.

They had been sitting there for quite some time. I decided it was time to bag them.

After I dragged the bags to the street, I hauled them to the local dump.

Finally finished with this lawncare chore, I took a shower and ate lunch. It had been a good workout. I was tired, but satisfied.

That night I went to bed feeling fine. When I woke up the next morning, however, my right shoulder was bothering me.

I must have strained it while bagging the leaves. I figured it would quickly heal itself.

November turned into December and then came January. My shoulder continued to hurt and was not getting any better.

It was now February and three months since I had injured my shoulder.

It hurt when I lifted my arm over my head.

I did not dare reach towards the back seat of the car or a searing pain would shoot through my arm.

While sleeping at night, my shoulder would bother me. When I first woke up in the morning, it would really be hurting me.

I struggled while getting dressed, being extra careful as I put my arm through my shirt sleeve.

I was now beginning to wonder if I had truly messed up my shoulder.

I knew someone close to my age who had shoulder surgery. (He could no longer swing a golf club.)

I absolutely did not want a surgeon cutting on me. So I had to do something about it.

Every night before going to bed, I would put magnesium lotion on my shoulder.

Several times a week, I went outside and did various range-of-motion exercises.

At night I would get in the shower, turn on the water as hot as I could stand it and slowly move my arm around in a circle.

Nothing seemed to work. My right shoulder was not getting any better. It seemed inevitable that I was soon going to be visiting a specialist.

Then one day I decided to try these patches. They sorta look like a round band aid. A white dot.

I put several of them on my shoulder. I did not expect much, but thought it was worth a try.

(I was doing anything and everything to avoid going to the doctor.)

After several weeks, I woke up one morning and noticed my shoulder was not hurting as much anymore.

Another week went by and I could raise my arm above my head without any pain.

I still had to be careful reaching behind me, but that seemed to be getting better too.

Sleeping at night was no longer a hassle and when I woke up in the morning my shoulder felt fine.

I'm thankful these round, white dots worked for me.

Maybe they'll work for you the way they have for me?

(It's better than having to see a specialist, don't you think?)

P.S. When I hurt my right shoulder, I was tired of living in pain.

I simply wanted a normal life again.

How about you? What if these little white dots work for you the way they have for me?

Would you like to try them?
